Consultancy

The consultancy services provided by the institution are in the fields of education, career counseling and guidance for the benefit of students and parents.

A faculty member of Mathematics and Statistics department prepared questionnaire for Dr Goyal of Surya – Eye Tech about eye care of school going children. This questionnaire served as the basis for a mega project on children’s eye care.

The college under the aegis of PTVA’s Computrain Centre holds a seminar every year for students who have just passed their SSC examination and their parents about careers in finance, computer science and information technology. Seminar is open to all such students in the vicinity.

Staff members of MCC assisted PATNI Computers Ltd. in designing the syllabus of the training programme for the new entrants.

   

Extension Services

The institution promotes the participation of students and faculty in extension activities in the following ways:

 

·     A list of extension activities of the college are provided in the prospectus.

·        Students are motivated to participate in extension activities through posters, lectures etc. explaining its significance for self development and contribution towards social cause. 

·         Students taking up NSS activity are awarded 10 grace marks.

·        Teachers are motivated to participate in extension activities. NSS programme officers are appointed considering their potential and interest.

·         Nature Club and NSS units co-ordinate with Hariyali, an NGO, and other institutes to organize activities to spread the message regarding environmental awareness, tree plantation etc.
