ADMISSION
GUIDELINES
Admission is purely based on merit and
is subject to availabilty of seats as per the directions issued by University of
Mumbai and Government of Maharashtra from time to time. A transparent admission
procedure is followed strictly based on the standard norms. Any modification in
admission guidelines will be notified on the college notice board at the time of
admission.
The management or the college
does not accept any donation or capitation fee for admission to any course
offered by the college. the public is cautioned not to fall a prey to any
misleading information regarding admission in the college against
donation.
DEGREE COLLEGE (F.Y., S.Y.
& T.Y.B.Com.)
1)
F.Y.B.Com.
admission will be as per the directions issued by the University from time to
time and subject to availability of seats in the college.
2)
A
candidate for being eligible for admission to the three year integrated course
leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Commerce, must have passed the Higher
Secondary School Certificate (S.Y.J.C.) Examination conducted by the Maharashtra
State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Mumbai or an
examination recognized as equivalent with subjects, as may be specified by the
University in Commerce stream.
3)
Students
passing an examination equivalent to S.Y.J.C. or Higher Secondary Board, Mumbai
and intermediate Commerce from any other States & immigrating from other
Universities, Boards & seeking admission to the First Year of the Three Year
Integrated Degree Course will be admitted only on the production of a
"Provisional Eligibility Certificate", issued by the University of Mumbai. Such
students should submit –

Migration
certificate
·
Statement
of Marks
·
Passing
certificate (of H.S.C and S.S.C. examinations) in original along with true
copies within two months, form the date of admission, failing which their
admissions liable to be cancelled.
4)
Students
coming from other colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai will be
admitted only provisionally on production of a No Objection Certificate from the
Principal of the college last attended and that their admission will be
confirmed only on receipt of the transference Certificate (T.C.) from their
previous college. For this purpose, they should submit an Application Form along
with T.C. and pay the fees to the college office at the time of
admission.
5)
Students
coming from university other than Mumbai University will be admitted
provisionally, depending on the availability of seats. Candidates from other
universities are required to produce a provisional eligibility certificate
issued by the Registrar, University of Mumbai. Their admission will be confirmed
only after a migration certificate is submitted by them.
6)
A few seats may be available in certain
subjects from other colleges seeking admission to S.Y.B.Com., S.Y.B.Sc.(I.T.),
S.Y.BSc. (Computer), S.Y.B.M.S., S.Y.B.C.A.F., S.Y.B.C.B.I. Interested students
may register their names in the college office. For details, see notice
board.
7)
Choice
of Applied Components in T.Y.B.Com will be regulated strictly on the basis of
merit.
